With recent weather related events in Texas and Florida, our communities are at risk to danger with hurricanes and other natural disasters. However, there is also a risk in our everyday lives we need to be aware of and prevent – whether it be in our home or our communities.
For fire and emergency services personnel to gain knowledge and practices to take to their communities that can ultimately lead to successful risk-reduction, the National Fire Academy is offering a two-day course (Oct. 23-24).   This free course is being held at the South Carolina Fire Academy.
