William Barnes sworn-in as 4th Vice President

Chief William Barnes was sworn-in as 4th Vice President of the South Carolina State Firefighters' Association during the Transfer of Command at the conclusion of Fire-Rescue on Saturday, June 13.

“I am humbled and honored to stand before you tonight as the newly elected fourth vice president of the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association,” Chief Barnes stated. Chief Barnes acknowledged his late parents and the lessons they instilled in him. “I want to sincerely thank the members of the Association for your trust and confidence in me. It is a responsibility I do not take lightly.”
