The South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association is working with Life Scan Wellness Centers (LSWC) to offer annual physicals designed specifically for firefighters.

What Is Life Scan?

Life Scan provides comprehensive yearly physicals built for first responders.

What Do They Include?

These physicals cover:

• Advanced cardiac screenings
• Cancer screenings
• Lab work
• Ultrasounds
• Fitness assessments
• Early detection of occupational health risks

That’s it. No fluff. Just the key screenings firefighters need.

Who Can Participate?

• Fire departments that are part of the Association
• Spouses and retirees (if there are open appointment slots, they can participate at the same rate)

What Does Your Department Need?

• At least 45 participants
• If you don’t have 45, you can partner with other departments

How to Get Started

• Fill out the contact form on the Life Scan website
• Say you’re with the SC Firefighters’ Association
• Life Scan will respond within 24–48 hours

What Do Departments Agree To?

• Departments will sign a simple agreement that covers:
• Paying for physicals at a discounted rate
• Managing excessive no-shows
• Paying for any additional testing or labs if needed
